Through connection, training, and support, we aim to be a community that empowers our members to embody the Gospel in every area of their lives, fostering servant-hearted leadership that uplifts and inspires others. Together, we partner with the Holy Spirit to ignite movements of love, growth, and transformation. We celebrate God’s work in every culture, community, and across all areas of society—whether in families, education, the arts, business, church, or beyond.

We honor the unique gifts and perspectives every culture and individual brings, recognizing them as vital threads in the fabric of the Kingdom of God—a tapestry woven from diverse expressions of His creativity and grace. With a spirit of innovation and a heart for all people—whether they come from marginalized or privileged situations—we encourage bold steps into uncharted territories to bring hope, renewal, and flourishing wherever God leads.

OUR HISTORY

Connect was founded in 1987 out of Hong Kong by a small group of visionary individuals with a heart to live out the teachings of Jesus in intercultural contexts, particularly in locations closed to traditional evangelistic groups. From the start, Connect embraced a holistic approach to transformation, integrating faith, service, and professional excellence across diverse areas of society.

Rooted in Biblical principles and guided by the belief that real faith impacts real life, in the real world, the organization began by establishing businesses and educational initiatives throughout Asia. Over the years, Connect expanded into Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, fostering thriving communities and meaningful relationships.

Today, Connect spans eight countries with members serving as teachers, artists, NGO professionals, business leaders, and more. United by shared values of mutuality, authenticity, integrity, growth, and community, Connect equips individuals and families to bring hope, renewal, and transformation to the communities they are called into, reflecting Christ’s love and joining together in the building of God’s Kingdom.

MUTUALITY

We value mutuality as a culture-honoring principle that requires humility, curiosity, and learning. Rather than coming as "foreign experts," we walk together as equals, honoring the beauty and wisdom in diverse cultural expressions. We recognize that humility is paramount to mutuality. 

Mutuality is a relationship in which trust and dependence flow both ways. Every individual and culture carries unique gifts to offer and receive. By embracing our differences, personalities, and abilities in shared life, we uncover new facets of God’s heart and deepen our love, understanding, and wholeness.

Through mutual discipleship, we build the body of Christ in unity, reflecting the vastness of His creativity and grace, as co-laborers equally transformed in the process.

AUTHENTICITY

We value authenticity as the foundation of our identity in Christ and the heart of our relationships. Through honesty, vulnerability, and grace, we reflect God’s light in both strength and weakness, creating spaces where trust and transformation flourish.
